This position provides technical and ancillary support, to process and fill outpatient prescriptions. Identifies basic therapeutic problems (e.g., duplication) and alerts the pharmacist for the possible need for intervention; monitors and analyzes orders to identify trends, communicating problems to the supervisor and makes recommendations for their solutions. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
