Specialty Pharmacy Technician
Position SummaryPreferred candidates would be pharmacy technicians that have 5 or more years of experience. Hospital inpatient or outpatient experience or previous specialty pharmacy experience would also be preferred. Finally, technicians with compounding experience/expertise are also preferred.The Specialty Pharmacy Technician serves as a primary source of communication with patients, insurance payers, patient support foundations, physician and clinic offices, Specialty Pharmacy Liaisons, drug distributors, and manufacturers. This position assists patients with access to resources to lessen the impact of the specialty drug therapy socially and economically.
