Health care experience required. Project management experience preferred.
The Pharmacy Smart Infusion Pump Systems Administrator designs, implements and manages the software and processes of the Smart Infusion server and related databases. This includes maintenance, upgrades, and development associated with the safe and reliable utilization of MaineHealth’s smart infusion pumps. The system administrator is responsible for the development of reports, coordination of upgrades and new implementations, and drug database maintenance and build. As a central resource for the health system, this position coordinates and helps resolve non-biomedical engineering problems related to smart infusion pumps. This position is centrally involved with leading the build, maintenance and optimization of MaineHealth’s bidirectional data strategy between smart infusion pumps and electronic health record to support safe patient care while ensuring efficient and user-friendly workflows for care team members providing direct patient care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Associate’s Degree preferred.
License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician in the State required. CPhT Certificate preferred.
Experience: Experience in a computerized, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred
